Free or priority launch: which one to pick
Both launch on the same board and are ranked by the same votes. The difference is when you launch and how your link counts — here is how to choose.

Every tool on LaunchFill launches on the same weekly board, and every board is ranked by the same thing: the votes a launch gets during its week. Paying does not change that. What a $9.90 priority launch changes is when you launch and how your link counts. Here is how to decide.
What stays the same
- The same board, the same Monday start, the same seven days of voting.
- The same review: a person checks every submission.
- The same permanent page in the directory, and the same alternatives page.
- The same winner's badge if you finish in the top three.
What priority changes
| Free | Priority ($9.90) | |
|---|---|---|
| Earliest week | 3 weeks out — 1 week with our badge | Any open week, this one included |
| Review | In the free queue | First |
| Link to your site | nofollow — dofollow with our badge | dofollow |
| On a tie | After priority launches | Before free launches |
Pick free if…
- Your date is flexible. Three weeks is enough time to prepare the listing, the screenshots and a note to your users — see the launch checklist.
- You can add our badge. With the badge on your homepage a free launch can be one week out and its link is dofollow, which covers most of what priority gives.
Pick priority if…
- Your launch is tied to a date — a release, an announcement, a campaign — and you need a particular week, possibly this one.
- You cannot put a badge on your site (a client's site, a strict brand policy) but want the dofollow link.
- You want review done first, because a free week is filling up.
Either way
A launch is decided by what happens during the week: a clear listing, a working product, and telling the people who already use it. The plan only picks the week.
Submit your tool — you choose the plan on the same form.
